- Star Man (Use Mega Buster.)
- Gravity Man (Use Star Crash.)
- Gyro Man (Use Gravity Hold.)
- Crystal Man (Use Gyro Attack.)
- Napalm Man (Use Crystal Eye.)
- Stone Man (Use Napalm Bomb or Mega Buster.)
- Charge Man (Use Mega Buster.)
- Wave Man (Use Charge Kick.)

Sentinel 1: Use Charge Kick or Water Wave. Sentinel 2: Use Crystal Eye.
Sentinel 3: Use Gyro Attack.
Protoman Wanna Be: Use Beat and dodge his beams.
1st boss in Wily's Castle: Use Crystal Eye and Mega Buster.
2nd boss: Use Gyro Attack.
1st Wily: Use the Super Arrow. Shove it in his mouth.
2nd Wily: Use Beat and dodge his energy spheres.

RUSH:
Rush Coil: You have it from the start.
Rush Jet: Get it by defeating Gryo Man.

BEAT: Collect letters to spell "MEGAMANV" and Beat will be added to your weapons. Just look for them in the following stages, and do what it says to help you.

Super Arrow: You get this when you defeat Star Man. Try standing on it.
M: Gravity Man's stage. You need to time your jump just right...

E: Wave Man's stage. It's during the jet-ski ride, after the Octopus.

G: Stone Man's stage. This is the hardest one to find because it's actually hidden. Near the beginning of the stage, look for a row of blocks in a wall on the right edge of the screen under a latter. The blocks will look different than the rest of the wall. Blast them with your arm cannon and slide through the gap you create.

A: Gyro Man's stage. Try to bounce off the blocks.

M: Star Man's stage. If you keep hitting the spikes, try this: allow yourself to be hit by the cannon to your right first...then use your temporary invincibility to grab the letter.

A: Charge Man's stage. You need Rush Coil.

N: Napalm Man's stage. Can't miss seeing it. You can, however, miss landing on the ledge it's on.

V: Crystal Man's stage. During a long fall down a spiked pit hold left and you might get it.
